Among the participants were judges from the Conseil d'Etat, Lord Lloyd Jones from the UK Supreme Court, and judges from the International Court of Justice and the European Court of Justice.

Dr Bjorge gave a talk on ‘Public law sources and analogies of international law’, which focused on “the extent to which ‘general principles of law recognized by civilized nations’ are capable of adjusting to the progress and needs of the international community”.
