Litigants in person research published by the Ministry of Justice

Research into litigants in person in private family law cases has recently been published by the Ministry of Justice. The research team (which included Dr Emma Hitchings) involved a consortium of six universities. The research was designed to explore both the characteristics and support needs of litigants in person in private family law cases and their impact on the courts prior to the implementation of the legal aid reforms.
