Sujitha argues that by not engaging with the issue in any substantive manner, and merely pointing to the legislature to protect the “so-called” rights of LGBT community which is only a “minuscule fraction” of the population - the Supreme Court has not only revealed its pre-colonial mind-set but also departed from its activist disposition.
