The School is delighted to welcome Professor Maria Isabel Gonzalez as an academic visitor until the end of July 2013. 'Maribel’, who also spent the autumn term 2010 here, teaches in the Faculty of Law at the University of Pompey Fabra in Barcelona. Having obtained her PhD from the University of Salamanca, Maribel worked as a researcher for three years at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative Public Law and International Law in Heidelberg. While in Bristol she intends to study judicial cooperation in criminal matters in the context of the EU's developing commitment to fundamental rights.
