On 1 September 2021 the new Apprentice pay scales were incorporated into the University existing pay grades and structures, and the main staff A-L pay structure was extended to cover Apprentices. Apprentice roles became subject to the same job evaluation and cost of living increases as all other roles within the A-L pay structure.
