We’d also encourage you to speak to us when:
- You need an alternative route to apply for a vacancy due to disability
- You have questions on the application process, interview and/or assessment format, to help you decide if you need to request an adjustment
- You have a request for an alternative interview date or time
Types of adjustments
Requests for adjustments are considered individually within the role's context and practicality. These can include:
- Relevant documents being provided in an accessible format (e.g., large print, electronic versions)
- Interview questions / agenda to be provided in advance of interview
- Extra time provision for assessments and interviews, as well as the chance to take pauses or rest breaks when needed
- Accessible interview locations
- The option to attend an online interview rather than in-person
- A visual guide document to assist in finding the interview location or a link to test the software and set up for an online interview.
This is not a fully comprehensive list, and we understand that everyone’s individual requirements are unique. We aim to support you with the adjustments you need where possible, and at each stage, so you can feel comfortable and can perform at your best.
