By recycling pens and markers, all University staff and students are helping to minimise the amount of plastic waste that ends up in landfill, working towards our zero waste targets.

Through theWriting Instruments Recycling Programme, the University is helping to raise much needed funds for nominated local adult literacy charity, Youth Education Service, as we earn money for each unit of waste we send in for recycling. This short video explains the recycling process.
