School benefits from surplus resources

Donating surplus resources is one way to extend the life of University furniture.

Sustainability work to reuse as much of the Universities’ resources within the organisation as possible. When we can’t find a home for it here we support charitable organisations by donating any surplus items to them.

We recently donated seven classroom tables, four folding chairs and three office chairs to Belgrave School in Clifton, a small school for students aged 6-16 with specific educational needs, such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia and short term and working memory issues. They offer therapies with speech and language therapists and occupational therapists.

Amy Billitteri, School Secretary, said: “Fabulous, thank you so much! We will make very good use of the school or office furniture as ours is very old and dated.”
