Membership counts - who uses credit unions?

This survey of ABCUL members was commissioned to provide an overview of the personal and financial circumstances of members of different types of credit union, including their use of the credit union for saving and borrowing as well as use of other sources of credit and savings products. Given the government focus on promoting financial inclusion, it was particularly interested to know the extent to which credit unions are used by people who are financially excluded.
