In a blend of art and climate activism, on 28 June 2023 staff and students from Archway School and All Saint's Academy in Gloucestershire crafted with passion and dedication a sea creature, now installed in the School of Education foyer.

Bringing together educators, learners and community artists to develop education-based and cross-curricular ‘craftivist’ activities, the aim of this project was to prompt conversations and action related to climate change. This allowed young people to explore and express their thinking and feelings around environmental issues, through the accessible hands-on creation of this creature in a school setting.
