Professor Leon Tikly has accept the invitation to become an international ambassador for the city of Bristol.

Professor Leon Tikly has been appointed as International Ambassador for the city of Bristol by Mayor Marvin Rees.

Together with other ambassadors, Leon Tikly, Professor in Education at the School of Education, will promote Bristol on the global stage by fostering connections between the city and international initiatives.

Celebrating his appointment, Leon stated: “I am honoured to accept this invitation to become an international ambassador for the great city of Bristol.  There is so much to be proud of in our culturally rich and creative city despite all of the challenges we currently face. I look forward to the opportunity to connect education in Bristol with education around the world, so that we can contribute to global initiatives and enrich ourselves through learning from what is going on elsewhere".
