Welcome Week runs from Monday 18 September to Friday 22 September, with loads of activities and events to help you settle in. You can find things to get involved in through the University of Bristol app, which you can download through the App Store or Google Play Store. Please note, details regarding the School of Chemistry Welcome Week induction will be sent to your personal email.

Registration is online and you will receive an email invitation when registration opens for your course. Registration will be open from the 31st of August to the 9th of September, once you have registered you will receive your University login details and email address, which are needed for us to set up local access to online resources prior to Welcome Week. You can find the Registration page by clicking here. 

Please also familiarise yourself with the school’s PGR Resources on Blackboard (access will be granted following completion of registration).

Once you have registered and have access to your University of Bristol online account, you will need to set up multi-factor authentication to access university services. This makes your account more secure by using an extra method to check who you are when you sign in, such as an app on your smartphone. 

Shortly after joining us, you should be inducted by your research group, who will run you through the lab research processes. You will also receive a safety briefing during welcome week. For those who have a taught element to their research course, please get in touch with your respective course administrator if you have questions on how the taught elements of your course are going to take place.
