Matt Rigby gives evidence on methane to House of Lords Environment and Climate Change Select Committee

Professor Matt Rigby of the School of Chemistry's Atmospheric Chemistry Research Group (ACRG) gave evidence to the Environment and Climate Change Select Committee, who are writing a report on methane.

At the session, Professor Rigby described the ACRG's role in evaluating the UK's greenhouse gas emissions inventory, as part of the Deriving Emissions Linked to Climate Change network.

Professor Rigby was part of a four-strong expert panel at the session that also consisted of the University of Manchester's Professor Grant Allen; Dan Wicks, the managing director of global emissions monitoring organisation GHGSat, and Glen Thistlethwaite of the Ricardo Group.
