Zwittering On was launched by the the Salters Institute, a chemistry outreach charity. The first episode, entitled "Mind the 'synaptic' gap: The chemistry of the brain" invites psychologist and cognitive neuroscientist Professor Sarah-Jayne Blakemore (University of Cambridge) to discuss the chemistry of the brain, mental health and how young people can look after their mental health.

While William co-wrote the podcast with the charity, he also stars in this and future episodes where he interviews various experts.
