Students applying to research programmes at the University of Bristol Business School may apply for funding from a range of sources or be eligible for an Alumni discount.

10 Business School Bursaries

Programme application deadline: 31st March 2024

University of Bristol Business School PhD Bursaries are for three-and-a-half years, starting in autumn 2024. The bursary provides full tuition fees (for either home/EU or international students), and a stipend at the rate of at least £20,400 per annum, paid in instalments, and teaching income, which will depend on the hours worked.

South West Doctoral Training Partnership (SWDTP)

Application deadline: 1st December 2023 (Annex A etc must be submitted by 12th January 2024)

Students need to have an offer of a place on the PhD programme in order to be considered for this scholarship.

 

China Scholarship Council – University of Bristol joint-funded PhD Scholarship

Application deadline: 12 pm (midday) UK time on 4th December 2023

Select 'CSC-UoB joint PhD scholarship' in the funding source drop-down list on the application form. Students should enter '100%' as the funding proportion. If they fail to do so, they will not be included in the nomination process. Students need to have an offer of a place on the PhD programme in order to be considered for this scholarship.
