Operations and Management Science, Healthcare & Innovation

Addressing a wide spectrum of management and organisation challenges, our group focuses on developing and disseminating knowledge in operations, management science, healthcare management and innovation as well as advancing practices.

Focused on impactful research through deep engagement with partner organisations in public, private and third sectors. Group members carry out rigorous, relevant, interdisciplinary research to achieve positive economic, societal and environmental changes. We employ a diverse set of research methods including theoretical, analytical, empirical, and behavioural models, and apply to a range of areas such as circular economy, digital technologies, governance and management of healthcare organisations, industrial sustainability, low carbon manufacturing, responsible innovation, and sustainable supply chain management. Our research, consulting and industry expertise enables us to develop two specialist masters courses: MSc Business Analytics and MSc Global Operations & Supply Chain Management. These courses are engaging, practical and provide students with the skills needed in today’s job market.
