Xenofon Vasilakos - Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence for Digital Infrastructures, Faculty of Engineering

17 January 2024, 2.00 PM - 17 January 2024, 3.00 PM

Xenofon Vasilakos

Location: tbc

Join BDFI academic Xenofon Vasilakos at this seminar exploring the convergence and integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Sixth Generation (6G) network architectures. This emerging combination signifies a transformative shift in the landscape of future telecommunications.

Underpinned by artificial cognition, using AI and Machine Learning (ML) models, this amalgamation will allow telecommunication systems to acquire knowledge, engage in reasoning, and adapt to dynamic needs.

As a result of network intrinsic intelligence and comprehensive automation, 6G telecommunications will offer the necessary substrate for supporting customisable and more human-centric services compared to the current reality in 5G.
