A postgraduate poster session, organised jointly between the Faculties of Science and Engineering, will be taking place on 21 March 2011 in the Wills Reception Room from 2 to 5pm. This year’s event follows on the success of last year’s Geo Poster Session 2010 but has expanded to include collaboration with Biological Sciences and Engineering with invitations of participation extended to Chemistry, Physics and Maths. The 2011 event is themed ‘Natural Systems and Processes’ and is open to all Masters and PhD students in the natural sciences. It will be an excellent opportunity for postgraduates to gain poster making and presentation skills, as well as a great chance to find out about the interesting research being done in other departments and to build valuable inter-departmental relations. Staff are warmly invited to attend.
