Andy Radford elected to ASAB Council

Dr Andy Radford, from the School of Biological Sciences in Bristol, has just been elected as a Council Member of ASAB for an initial 3-year term.

Dr Andy Radford, from the School of Biological Sciences in Bristol, has just been elected as a Council Member of ASAB for an initial 3-year term (January 2011-December 2014). ASAB (The Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour) was founded in 1936 to promote the study of animal behaviour, and is the leading European professional association in the field. It has approximately 2000 members, publishes the journal Animal Behaviour, hold four annual conferences, offers a variety of grants and scholarships, promotes the ethical treatment and conservation of animals, and encourages the teaching of animal behaviour in schools.
