How can moving agents share the same space in dynamic complex environments?
How can moving agents share the same space in dynamic complex environments? A research grant to study this question in wild echolocating bats has been awarded to
Dr Holger Goerlitz from the
School of Biological Sciences, University of Bristol. The
Royal Society is supporting Holger Goerlitz with £10,000 towards high-speed and high-quality sound recording and analysis equipment. The research will examine the communication and movement strategies that multiple bats employ to organise their space use and to avoid collisions.
