New Leverhulme Fellow for Biological Sciences

Congratulations to Christos Ioannou, who has won a highly competitive Leverhulme Fellowship to come to the School of Biological Sciences.

Congratulations to Christos Ioannouwho has won a highly competitive Leverhulme Fellowship to come to the School of Biological Sciences, for 2 years starting this September. Christos is currently based at the University of Exeter, previously having been a postdoc at Princeton. His research is on the c auses and consequences of leadership decisions in animal groups, from fish to humans, using experiments and computer modelling. His research interests are highly complementary to many of those in the Sensory, Behaviour and Neurobiology Group within the School, and more widely across Mathematics, Experimental Psychology, Computer Sciences and the Behaviour & Welfare Group in the Veterinary School.
