Congratulations to the 12 biologists who ran the Bristol 10k on Sunday. They joined over 11,200 others, running in near perfect weather conditions around the Harbourside of Bristol and through the Avon Gorge. Dr Nick Roberts, who runs for Wells City Harriers, came 161 with a time of 37.37 minutes and Dr Shelby Temple was just outside 40 minutes. Faith Smith and Professor Richard Wall both beat their previous times from last year by nearly 3 minutes and for some, it was their first time running in a major road race. Most importantly, everyone enjoyed the race and hopefully there will be even more biologists running next year.
