Dr Rick Bruintjes starts today in the School of Biological Sciences as a Swiss National Science Foundation Fellow. Rick will be working with Dr Andy Radford to explore the potential impact of anthropogenic noise on cooperative behaviour, using Neolamprologus pulcher, a cooperatively breeding cichlid fish species found along the shores of Lake Tanganyika, as a model species.
