Sophie Holles has recently been awarded a Faculty of Science Commendation of Excellence in a Master's Thesis. The University's Research Degree Examination Board noted the glowing nature of the examiner's reports relating to the research itself, the quality of presentation of the thesis and Sophie's performance in the viva. The thesis, entitled 'The impact of ship noise on three-spined stickleback behaviour' was based on work conducted with Dr Andy Radford.
