Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)

CAS for your pre-sessional course

This information applies to on-campus pre-sessional students only.

If you are applying for an on-campus pre-sessional course, we cannot release your ‘Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies’ (CAS) for your pre-sessional course until you have both:

It is your responsibility to allow enough time to obtain your visa, so that you can attend the first day of your pre-sessional course. We therefore recommend that you submit your pre-sessional application as soon as possible, and do not wait until the application deadline.

Remember, your course induction will start on:

  • 12 June 2024 for 10-week on-campus students
  • 10 July 2024 for 6-week on-campus students.

CAS for your undergraduate or postgraduate course

This information applies to online and on-campus pre-sessional students.

We cannot release the CAS for your undergraduate or postgraduate course until you have completed your pre-sessional course. We expect to be able to release your CAS on:

  • 16 August 2024 for online students
  • 2 September 2024 for on-campus students.

You should consider these dates when choosing which pre-sessional course to apply to. We will only be able to release your CAS on these dates if you have also met all conditions of your undergraduate or postgraduate course.

Further information about CAS

On this page, we have highlighted some key CAS information. More information about single and combined CAS options, as well as more detailed information on pre-sessional visas, can be found on our dedicated pre-sessional visa and CAS information page. It is essential you read this information in full.
