Spring 2009 Events Programme
The spring term is here! On this page you'll find information about upcoming events and socials so make sure
regularly.
The programme is regularly updated, as and when new information becomes
available.
If you want to go on any of the Sunday events be sure to get in
touch with President Serene the week before
and tell her where you would like to be picked-up.
- Sunday 18th January

Berrow Dunes
Berrow Dunes is our first conservation trip of the year. That pesky
sea buckthorn never says die, fortunately neither do we ;).
- Sunday 25th January

Weston Big Wood
This will be coppicing some smaller trees such as field maple, hazel and dog rose. We will be working with the Avon Wildlife trust.
- Sunday 8th February

Midger Woods
We will be cutting back woodland and chopping back some rogue grass at
Midger Woods.
- Sunday 15th February

Ravensroost Wood
We will be doing conservation based activities at Ravensroost Wood , which is a Wiltshire Wildlife Trust site.
- Sunday 1st March

Dolebury Warren
This week will take us to Dolebury Warren
where we will be doing scrub clearance
- Saturday
7th & Sunday 8th March

Devon weekend
We'll be leaving on Saturday morning for a full weekend's conserving
on the Tarka Trail cycle path in North Devon. Accommodation will be in
Taddiport village hall. This should be a brilliant trip, so get in touch
with Serene to book
your place.
As well as the usual clothing and packed lunch (for Saturday) you'll
also need to bring a sleeping bag and a carry-mat/airbed. Food will be
provided for Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast and Sunday lunch....
there will be a small charge to cover the cost of this.
