Dolebury Warren
15th October 2006
Our first task of the term was very popular, but thanks to Olly and his car we managed to bring all 20 who wanted to go. It was a lovely warm hazy day on the hill and our numbers were further strengthened by a dozen volunteers from the Avon Wildlife Trust. The work involved cutting (and burning!) regrowth of previously felled hawthorn, so that it could be treated with a herbicide.
