Dune maintenance at Berrow Dunes, Somerset
17 March 2002
'A lovely visit to the seaside' doesn't accurately describe this
trip. Though it has to be said that it was good fun destroying sea
buckthorn and burning it (some people even volunteered to plant marram
grass). Ice creams were a welcome if somewhat unjustified addition to the
obligatory pub stop.

Here's an email from David Westbrook of Somerset Wildlife Trust:
Dear Sue
Now that I have recovered! Just to say very many thanks again
to you and the team for all the hard work at Berrow. It
really was much appreciated. Good luck to everyone taking
exams soon.
Best wishes
