Ride clearance
at Lower Woods, South Glos

15 October 2000

The first trip of the academic year saw an unprecedented level of interest, plus we were joined by volunteers from the Avon Wildlife Trust. We spent the day clearing the ride near the lodge, whilst midges spent the day attacking us.

The new recruits are soon cheerfully slashing
and burning along with the rest of us.

on everyone's nerves...
(there were a few midges too.)
