Wild flower relocation at Woolavington, Somerset
We spent a sunny day in 1999 digging up cowslips and other wild
flowers from a meadow being built upon and replanting them on the school
field.... and in a graveyard! All rather bizarre.
Arriving at a decidedly non-typical work site on a Sunday
morning.
Robin rips up another clump of endangered cowslips with her bare
hands.
Whilst busily engaged in digging up the development site the locals
trap us inside a security fence!
Roughing it.
Leaving our mark on the local school playing field.
