Session 7: Literacy through sign bilingualism

In this session we consider how a child in a bilingual programme can be enabled to learn to read in English.  This raises enormous complexities of language comparisons and of the teaching approaches to be taken.  We are quite a long way from being able to implement a programme satisfactorily.
