The University of Bristol has been welcoming students from Nigeria for many years. Set within a similar legal system of common law, our LLB is a 3-year qualifying law degree and presents a quicker route as well as excellent preparation for continuing to Bar part 1 and part 2 qualifications in Nigeria. Already of excellent academic standing, many Nigerian students are also coming to Bristol to further their legal studies on our LLM courses.

Apply today
You can apply online for all our programmes. Applicants with the Senior School Certificate (combined with a successfully completed appropriate foundation/bridging programme), the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or British A-Levels will be considered for admission to our Bachelor degree courses. Applicants who have successfully completed the first year of a Nigerian university Bachelors Degree will be considered for admission to the first year of our Bachelor degree course. Applicants who hold a Bachelors Degree (minimum 2:1) will be considered for admission to a Masters degree. Applicants who hold a Masters Degree will be considered for admission to PhD study. Meet Foluke
Dr Foluke Adebisi joined the Law School in September 2013 and is leading the recruitment of students from Nigeria. She is committed to exploring diversity in the content process and structure of, particularly, legal education and has recently launched Forever Africa Conference and Events as a platform to make change happen. She has also been fundamental to the introduction of a new module, Law and Race, to the School's curriculum.
