From 2018-2022, the University of Bristol Theatre Collection was one of two archival partners who collaborated with the Universities of Exeter and Warwick on the AHRC-funded Theatre and Visual Culture in the Long Nineteenth Century project.

One aim of this project was to demonstrate the significance of the University of Bristol Theatre Collection and Bill Douglas Cinema Museum (the other archival partner). As such, the following were created, showcasing some of the Collections' resources:
