What to expect at your Modern Languages offer holder event
Once you have received an offer to study at the University, you will receive your email invitation to attend an offer holder event.
We have planned the day to provide you with a taste of studying your subject at Bristol as well as insights into making the most of student life here.
This event is for offer holders for the following course:

Wednesday 28 February
Registration
Time: 1:15 - 1:30 pm
A warm welcome to the School of Modern Languages, where you will be introduced to our staff and find your session locations for the day.
School of Modern Languages Welcome Talk
Time: 1:30 - 2 pm
You will have the chance to attend a School-wide talk, at which you will hear about how our language programmes work and about the learning environment of the School. This talk will also give you information about the year abroad that takes place over the course of study.
Departmental Talks
Time: 2:10 - 3:10 pm
You will attend two taster language sessions of your choice. If you already know which post-A Level language(s) you want to study, why not use these sessions to help you choose a beginners’ language. The language options are French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German and Russian.
Networking Activity
Time: 1:30 - 4 pm
Meet our staff and current students, and ask any questions you have about life and study at the University of Bristol.
