We have planned the day to provide you with a taste of studying your subject at Bristol as well as insights into making the most of student life here.

A warm welcome to the School for Policy Studies, where you will be greeted by our academic staff and student ambassadors with the information you need for your visit.
Course overview
Time: 1:30 - 2 pm
An introduction to Childhood Studies at the University of Bristol from our team, where we will talk about what to expect from teaching, learning and your student experience at Bristol.
Tea and coffee
Time: 2 - 2:15 pm
An opportunity for a short tea/coffee break.
Networking activity
Time: 2:15 - 2:45 pm
A networking activity with current students.
Taster activity
Time: 2:45 - 3:15 pm
Join our academics in a taster seminar where you can engage with some of the learning materials taught on the course.
Parents/Carers Q&A
Time: 2:15 - 3:15 pm
A chance for parents/carers to ask questions to a member of staff and a student ambassador.
Wrap up
Time: 3:15 - 3:30 pm
Meet our staff, students and other offer holders in a final networking session. This is a chance to ask any remaining questions you may have.
Tour (optional)
Time: 3:30 - 4:15 pm
Weather permitting, there will be an opportunity to visit the School for Policy Studies on Priory Road for anyone who would like to do so.
