  1. Complete the “Request contact from an adviser” form.
  2. A member of our team will contact you to help progress your report.
  3. Your case will be assessed, and you will get advice about the next steps, which may include a formal investigation.

What to expect when you talk to us

You only need to share what you are comfortable talking about. We will not ask you to tell us in detail what happened.

We will ask you about your wellbeing and safety to make sure we can offer you the right support. 

If you think you have been reported for unacceptable behaviour

If someone has reported you, you will receive an email from us which will explain:

  • what you have been reported for
  • the evidence that has been submitted
  • the process

If you are unsure about whether you have been reported for unacceptable behaviour, email srs-casework@bristol.ac.uk to find out. They will tell you and talk you through the process.
