R. Senathi Rajah Memorial Scholarship

Sri Lankan postgraduate applicants can apply for funding towards tuition fees.

One scholarship of £26,000 is available, which must be used towards the cost of tuition fees for a one-year taught master's degree.

In addition to this, a living cost bursary of £3,000 will also be awarded to the successful awardee. This scholarship is aimed at supporting students who are in financial need.

Ms Sonali Siriwardena is delighted to honour the memory of late Mr Senathi Rajah with this scholarship. Mr Senathi Rajah was a former Senior partner of Julius & Creasy, one of the oldest civil law firms in Sri Lanka, and a much-respected mentor and benefactor of young professionals in Sri Lanka.

Eligibility

You can apply if you:

  • are a national of Sri Lanka, holding a Sri Lankan passport;
  • already have applied to start a one-year full-time master's degree at the University of Bristol in September 2024;
  • are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes.

Unsuccessful applicants will be notified shortly after.
