Qube Scholarship in Research and Technology
Part of the Futures Scholarships programme, these awards are to help fund the first year of undergraduate study and employability opportunities for UK applicants.
Up to five awards are available in 2025/26.
Successful applicants receive £2,000 for their first, second and third years. There is also a further £1,000 available as Career Employability funding.
Successful applicants will be enrolled on the Futures Scholarships programme. You will be supported by the Futures Scholarships co-ordinator to access career guidance and advice on University opportunities for personal and professional development.
If you started before 2025/26
Your awards have a value of £3,500 if you started before 2025/26. You receive:
- £2,000 in the first year
- £750 in the second and third years
There is also a further £1,000 available as Career Employability Funding.

Eligibility
You can apply if you:
- are a UK applicant for full-time undergraduate study
- have a household income of £50,000 or less as confirmed by the Student Loans Company
- have been made an offer (or be awaiting a decision) to start one of the following courses in 2025/26:
- Computer Science
- Data Science
- Maths (including dual honours)
- Physics (including dual honours)
