The intention of the award is to provide students who would not normally be able to access postgraduate study with financial support to pursue their academic interests.

Ten awards will provide eligible students with a fee waiver of up to £5,000 towards the cost of 2024/25 tuition fees.

These awards have been generously funded through donations by alumni and friends to the University.

Eligibility

To be eligible for this award, you must complete the University of Bristol’s Access Postgrad scheme. 

In addition, you must:

• be a final-year undergraduate student at the University of Bristol in 2023/24.
• be a UK (Home) fee-paying student.
• undertake a one-year, full-time or two-year part-time postgraduate taught programme at the University of Bristol, starting in September 2024/25.

All final-year applicants to Access Postgrad will automatically be considered for one of the 10 fee waiver awards.

Applications for Access Postgrad 2023/24 will open on 18 September and close on 16 October 2023.
