Summary

The GW4 Alliance (the Universities of Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and Exeter) hosted the inaugural GW4 Open Research Week for 2023 running 20th-24th November. The theme for 2023 was 'the Theory of Change' which explored how we can make research more accessible, transparent, reproducible, visible and of value to the public.

The Open Research Week featured a range of online, hybrid and in-person events - many of which were also open to members of institutions outside of GW4 and to members of the public.

Researchers were invited to apply for a £250 GW4 Open Research Prize and the Early Career Publishing Prize (both prizes now closed).
