Pedagogy Research Group

We are a group of lecturers in SPAIS who have a keen interest in all things pedagogy, and especially how we can improve teaching and learning for our students.

Our group

Our members all teach in sociology, politics and international relations at a variety of career levels. We have diverse research interests across these disciplines, and we all teach undergraduate and postgraduate students

We are all passionate about teaching our students and improving our own pedagogical knowledge and practice as well as contributing to those of the School more generally.

Our main aims are to:

  • Share best practice in the School
  • Support pedagogical research in the School
  • Help foster a pedagogy focussed research community in the School
  • Contribute to the pedagogical literature
  • Help foster and promote internal and external collaborations

Our research areas/themes

  • Sociology
  • Politics
  • International Relations
