Family medicine training in Palestine

1 May 2014

New report published into the evaluation of a Family Medicine postgraduate training programme in Palestine

The Centre for Academic Primary Care has been instrumental in supporting the first family medicine training programme in Palestine, based in An-Najah University. The International Development of Family Medicine in Palestine (IDFMP) programme is a collaboration between academic general practitioners (GPs) in England and Italy.

In collaboration with academic colleagues at University College London and the University of Cambridge, we delivered a one-week course for family medicine residents in Nablus.  We are now planning academic and training placements and exchanges with the programme.
