CQP PhD student wins award from Worldwide Universities Network

13 December 2010

A CQP PhD student, Alex Clark, has won an award from the Worldwide Universities Network under their Researcher Mobility Programme.

Alex Clark, a Centre for Quantum Photonics PhD student, has won an award from the Worldwide Universities Network (WUN) under their Researcher Mobility Programme (RMP).  This award will enable Alex to visit the CUDOS group at the University of Sydney for one month in February 2011.

"The Research Mobility Programme encourages personal and academic development of individuals, primarily, early in their research careers, to equip them with the skills needed for future international academic success. The programme allows young scholars to advance their knowledge-base within their field of study, establish new contacts and mentors, and enhance their graduate dissertations through the experience gained in studying in other research cultures."
