Bristol Theoretical Physicists have work published in the NewScientist

Professor Sandu Popescu, Professor of Physics at the University of Bristol

Dr. Daniel Collins, Senior Research Associate in Theoretical Physics at the University of Bristol

The School of Physics' very own Professor Sandy Popescu and Dr. Daniel Collins have had some of their work around quantum innovation around the multiverse posted in the NewScientist.

Professor Sandu Popescu and Dr. Daniel Collins from our Theoretical Physics research theme have recently had some work featured in the NewScientist.

The article was published on 6th January, written by Michael Brooks, and explores Sandu and Daniel's research in quantum mechanics and how through initially research to solve a 100-year-old puzzle in quantum theory, they ended up undermining the idea of parallel universes.

“This is something deep and new. I think it could become really important,” says Nicolas Gisin, who researches the foundations of quantum theory at the University of Geneva in Switzerland.

Many congratulations to Sandu and Daniel for their hard work and getting this recognition and for their breakthrough research. You can read the full NewScientist article with full details of Sandu and Daniel's research in the links below.
