Dr. Belinda Wilkes is currently a Royal Society Wolfson Visiting Fellow at the School of Physics here in Bristol.

From a PhD student in Astronomy at University of Cambridge (UK) to a director of the Chandra X-Ray Center (USA) which operates NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory, Dr. Belinda has very fruitful experiences in research and management of a research center. 

In her talk, Dr. Belinda will give us an overview of key moments in her career and advice on how to navigate the research field.
