We are delighted to announce that our former PhD student, Dr Simón Palominos Mandiola, has been appointed as a Lecturer in the Department of Music at the University of Chile. This is the oldest and most prestigious higher education institution in Chile, and it is also one of the most respected universities in Latin America. Simón will be contributing to teaching and research in the areas he developed during his PhD studies at the University of Bristol, including popular music studies, music and migration, cultural policy, and cultural management.
