MSc Stem Cells and Regeneration
Stem cells can help us understand and potentially cure many devastating conditions and diseases. This online distance-learning programme is designed for scientists and prospective researchers as well as qualified doctors, dentists and veterinarians to advance their careers in this exciting field.
This distance-learning programme is taught through online lectures, discussions and assessments by internationally recognised experts at the University of Bristol.
The programme covers stem cell biology and regeneration from its origins to its current and potential applications in treating human diseases, such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and cardiovascular diseases.
Our leading researchers will also introduce you to the latest technologies for research in this area.
Advancing your career
Some of our students go onto postgraduate research before taking up a research or academic career in this fascinating and constantly evolving field.
Others go on to work in the pharmaceutical industry or in roles such as stem cell business development, stem cell patents or charity research development

The programme is structured around seven taught units and a research project.
