The Complete University Guide is an online league table, founded in 2007, that uses publicly available data about UK universities and how they perform in a range of different areas – overall and by subject area and courses – to assist students in making informed university choices.
The Complete University Guide UK Rankings 2023 sees the Law School climbing from 9th to 8th in the top 10 institutions for studying law and the University of Bristol overall climbing two places to 15th.
Professor Ken Oliphant, Head of the Law School, said:
"This is fantastic recognition of the School's all-round strength and reputation for excellence. We pride ourselves on offering a rich and exciting, research-led educational experience, and work hard to boost the employability prospects of our students. It's great to see us positioned joint second for research quality in the table, with a Top 10 UK ranking overall!"
The University of Bristol was recently ranked third for legal research in the UK, with a remarkable 93% of its research assessed as world-leading or internationally excellent, in the recent Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021 results.
