In 2018, the Centre for Law at Work began hosting the Bristol Industrial Law Society evening meetings. Since the new academic year started in 2019, Lord Hendy QC and barrister Matt Jackson have come to Bristol to speak to practitioners, academics and our students. In the new year, we are delighted to be hosting:

Wednesday 5 February 2020, Professor Elizabeth Barmes, Professor of Labour Law, Queen Mary, London who will be speaking on 'Silencing at Work: UK Experience of NDAs in the Settlement of Sexual Harassment Cases'

Thursday 27 February 2020, Charles Wynn-Evans, Partner, Dechert LLP, who will be speaking on 'Anomalies Arising under the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employees) Regulations'

Both meetings will take place at 6pm, The Old Council Chamber, Wills Memorial Building, University of Bristol.
