Led by Professor Andrew Charlesworth, Dr Clair Gammage, Professor Sarah Green, and Professor Aurora Plomer, the Centre for Global Law and Innovation (CGLI) will enhance synergies between scholars in the school whose research engages with the legal, social and economic challenges posed by globalisation, innovation, trade and development.
Building on the expertise of members in banking regulation; digital economies, intellectual property; European and international trade, investment treaties and development, the Centre aims to promote independent, world leading research to inform and support international, European and national agencies, regulators and courts in all aspects of legal policy on innovate, trade and development.
Find out more about the CGLI at the international Contract Theory Workshop, held 20 – 21 June, hosted jointly by the Law School and the School of Economics, Finance and Management with a keynote lecture from Nobel Prize-winning economist Oliver Hart, Professor of Economics at Harvard University and IAS Benjamin Meaker Visiting Professor at the University of Bristol.
